Lake- Part 1

After much discussion we decided to head to the lake again this past weekend. We both love it so much there but had a hard time deciding if we wanted to travel. We realized we will not be able to go back until June because of my work schedule and our trip to Mexico so we decided to go. I am so glad we did we had great weather and so much fun. Of course I took way too many pictures! They turned out so cute and Wade had a blast. He is a water baby for sure. He could have cared less that the water was freezing. He kept trying to get in. Finally on Saturday Afternoon we took him over to my Aunt's place where he could sit on her little beach area and play in the sand/dirt and water. We had so much fun cooking out, riding the boat and golf cart, eating at the pier and just hanging out with family. It is so nice to have both sides of the family there. My dad's brother has the house beside us and my mom's sister and my cousin both have place's just a couple of house down from us. It is so nice just to be able to walk from house to house and visit. Wade had a blast walking all over the neighborhood. We live on this small street that has no traffic unless it is one of us so it is a great place for the kids to play. I had to work Sunday evening so we had to leave around 2pm and we just hated having to come home. Things are so much slower paced at the lake... no one wears a watch and the only plans we ever make are deciding whether to cook out for meals or to take the boat to the pier (Tamarak) to eat. We could really get used to lake life! Here are some of the pictures, I will post the ones of Wade playing in the water tomorrow.
