How Far Along: 20 weeks
Size of baby: 6.5 in and 10.2oz
Gender: It's a girl....Westin Kate
Maternity Clothes: Yes- shorts and pants. Wearing some regular tops and some maternity. Still wearing my regular dresses.
Weight Gain: I hit the double digits...10lbs!! I am pretty happy about 10lbs in 20 weeks and hoping to only gain 10-15more! I would love to gain 25-30lbs since I gained around 45ish with Wade.
Movement: Some... I have a anterior placenta which acts as a cushion between her and I so it will take a little longer to really start feeling her move :( I usually feel her a few times a day, and when I feel her it is way down below my belly button.
Sleep: This has not been great lately- starting to get more uncomfortable and my ears still hurt at night!
Symptoms: only mild nausea here and there (so thankful!), ear and throat pain- they want me to follow up wth ENT next week if it is not better after taking Sudafed. Lots of acid reflux too!!!
What I miss: Not too much, maybe sleeping on my stomach! Maybe the occasional glass of wine as well!!
Cravings: None really
What I am looking forward to: Getting to 24 weeks and having at least one more u/s. I found out at my last appointment that because my placenta is anterior it is also a placenta previa. I had one with Wade early on but it had moved by this point. He said we will do a third trimester u/s for sure to check. Hopefully it will move so I don't have to have a C-section.

October Beach Trip
Since I was so sick this summer we didn't get to the beach as much as we wanted. We were so excited to get back to the beach last weekend. The weather was so nice. Friday was the only day it was warm enough to swim so I am so glad Wade and I went early with my mom, dad and sister. My parents had not been in 2 years so they were so excited to go. The 5 of us piled in one car and got there by 1230p Friday. Josh and Zach had to work so they came later Friday night. We stayed on the beach from 1-4pm then I brought Wade in for a short nap so he could make it through dinner. We went to Barefoot Friday night and had so much fun walking around. Can I tell you how much I love Fall weather.
Saturday the girls went shopping and Josh and Zach took Wade to play putt putt for the first time. To say he had a blast is a understatement. That is all he talked about. They bought a day pass and we went back that night so we could see him play too. He is actually really good and even got a hole in one! He kept saying "I am the winner!" I was so excited to get some Christmas shopping done early. We were so sad that Nana and Poppy were not able to come down this weekend. Wade kept asking for them every time we would come back to their condo. Sunday we relaxed and spent some time on the beach that afternoon before heading home. It was a great weekend and I am so glad we went. I think October is my favorite month at the beach. I am going to do a separate post of just pictures because there are so many. I am hoping we will get back to the beach one more time before Westin Kate gets here.

19 week picture
I am not doing very well taking pictures these days...finally here is my 19 week picture. Things are going well and I am so happy to be halfway there. Thankfully they will induce me by 39 weeks if she is not here because of Wade's size. Still hoping she comes at 37 weeks like Wade did (wishful thinking I know!!)
2.5 years old!
Well I am behind on blogging once again but wanted to do a post today because Wade is 2.5 today. Where has the time gone? I can't believe that in 6 months I will have a 3 year old. We are so thankful for our big boy. Here is a little bit of what he is up to these days.
I know I am forgetting so much but these are some of the things he is up to. He is such a sweet boy. I have to say he hardly ever cries, has never thrown a real tantrum and is so funny. Now he is WIDE OPEN at times and is ALL BOY but I would not change that for a minute! He does get in trouble for yelling and being "mean" or not listening sometimes but overall he is such a great and easy kid. He is VERY independent these days and wants to do everything "by myself!" I have just loved watching him grow and change over the past few months. He just seems so old to me these days. I can't wait to meet his sister but I am so thankful that we will have had almost three years with just Wade before she gets here.
Wade,
We love you so much and can't believe you are two and a half years old today. We are so thankful for you and for your fun and sweet personality. We can't wait to watch you grow and change over the next 6 months. Daddy calls you his best friend and loves you so much too! We are so proud of the little boy you are becoming. We love you,
Mommy & Daddy

- has been potty trained now for 4 months
- talks ALL day long
- loves to sing "his music"
- knows his ABC's and how to count to 30
- knows his letters, shapes and colors

18 Weeks!
How Far Along: 18 weeks
Size of baby: 6.6 in and 6.7oz (Westin is a little bigger than average, she was 8oz on u/s Friday)
Gender: It's a girl....Westin Kate
Maternity Clothes: Yes- shorts and pants. Wearing some regular tops and some maternity. Still wearing my regular dresses.
Weight Gain: not sure exactly but somewhere around 6lbs- finally starting back exercising this week!!
Movement: Yes, but only a few times, nothing regular yet.
Sleep: This is a hit or a miss still. Some nights I sleep horribly and some nights I sleep great. I am always awake by 6:00am for some strange reason??
Symptoms: Still have earache's and a scratcy throat, I am starting to think this is just going to stay with me :(
The abx don't seem to be working. However on a positive note it seems that most of my morning sickness is FINALLY gone. It only took 17 weeks!! I am still living on Tums as well.
What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach!
Cravings: No cravings but I can tell my appetite has really started to increase this past week.
What I am looking forward to: getting to the half way mark in two weeks!!

It's still a GIRL!!
Today we had our anatomy ultrasound. We were so thankful that everything looked good on ultrasound. We saw two arms/legs, fingers and toes, and heard a good strong heartbeat of 146! We were also excited because we got to have second look to make sure she is really a she. I feel so much better after today; we got two great shots and it is indeed a little girl. So thankful that Westin Kate looked healthy!!
My mom and sister went with us and we took Wade. He was so excited to see the baby. He kept asking me "you going to lay on that chair?" and then he would say "we see baby's heartbeat?" He has heard her heartbeat before with the doppler at home and he put two and two together that we were going to hear the heartbeat again today. The sweetest thing happened. I told Wade yesterday "maybe she will wave to you" and he would get so excited last night and this morning and say "maybe she will wave to me?" Well I was really hoping she would throw her little arm up so we could tell him she waved. Sure enough only about a minute or two into the u/s that little arm and hand went right up and it looked just like a wave. The u/s tech got a great picture of her "waving" and froze it on the screen and told Wade to look. He was SO EXCITED that she actually waved to him (we were too!!)
He was really funny and actually pretty good going to his first appointment. He was a little loud in the waiting room but had everyone in there laughing at him. When she called us back he says "mommy sit on the chair...but not me!" Then he said again "but not me" bless him, he wanted to make sure she knew it was not a appointment for him. He was also worried about the gel she put on my belly!! Poor guy has to go today and get two shots and I am already dreading it :(
Westin Kate measured right on track. I am 17 weeks and 5 days and she measured one day ahead at 17wk and 6 days. Right now she weighs 1/2 a pound. Our little peanut!! I have been thinking she is smaller than Wade was because I have not started feeling her move yet. I was feeling Wade move when I was just over 16 weeks. I went back and looked (this is why I LOVE blogging!!) and Wade was MUCH bigger than her. I had my u/s with Wade at 18 wks and 4 days and he was 11.5 oz. Westin was 8oz today. I can't believe he was this big at 18 weeks. Westin measured one day ahead and our big boy measured 2 weeks ahead. He has just been big from the beginning!! Maybe this is a good thing and I will have a 7lb baby this time!! We are so thankful for a good report today and so excited to see our sweet girl!! I even had to go out and buy a couple of little things today for her. Wade managed to get a few cute things too.
