The weekend before Easter we took the kids to a Easter Egg hunt at our friends church. WK didn't really have a clue what was going on but Wade was so excited about the candy!! I have a picture of Wade when he was almost one sitting in a Easter egg pile just like this. Westin Kate is just a couple of months older than he was.
The Monday before Spring break (3-25-13) was Wade's birthday celebration at school. He of course picked out Ninja Turtle plates and cupcakes to share with his friends.
Not so sure about this Easter Egg hunt :) I love the next picture-she LOVES to sit like this!!
Good Friday we took the kids to see the Easter Bunny. I wanted to take them when Josh was off. Wade of course did great and smiled and WK actually did pretty good too. She would not give us a smile but she didn't cry either. I LOVE this first picture of her little face. She is looking at us like-get me out of here :) Then she decides to look up at him and see what he is all about. I can't believe that she was only 8 weeks old last year when we took them. Wade told him he wanted a chocolate bunny for Easter!!
After seeing the Easter Bunny we let the kids ride the little train in the mall. Look at Josh's face in the 2nd picture. He is saying "how did I get stuck on this thing with all the kids!!" Guilty by association we told him. They all had a great time and WK was worn out and fell asleep on the way home. Now that she is almost 14 months we have been working hard to drop her morning nap. We are almost there but she is SO tired by 12-1pm. She usually makes it until then and has been napping like a champ taking 3 hour naps most days.
And here is a random picture of my kiddo's having their favorite snack...an apple! Of course WK wants to eat hers just like her big brother.
