Wade had his very first T-ball practice/game on Saturday. To say he was excited is a understatement. He could not wait to play in his first game but he was also so excited because all of his grandparents were going to be there and Ashley and Zach.
Josh and Chase's Dad-Jeff are the coaches and they did a great job. Of course it was a little crazy because it was the first game but it was so cute. They practiced for 30 minutes by doing stations and then they "played" for 30 minutes. My favorite part of the entire game is when anyone would hit the ball and the ENTIRE team would leave their spots and run and dive or tackle for the ball. It was so funny. Next week's practice may consist of "staying in their spots!!" Wade is playing with his best friend Chase and his other really good friend Ben. I got some great videos but here are some of my favorite pictures.
And yes my almost 4 year old wore his hat either sideways or backwards the entire time...he is just like Josh!!
We had a great day after the game. We went back to my parents house and we all walked to downtown Apex for lunch and a little shopping. I love that they moved so close to downtown. It was Wade's little family birthday celebration. After lunch he got ice cream and was thrilled! After a couple of hours downtown we went back to our house and Wade got to open his Easter gifts and birthday gifts from Nana and Poppy. He loved them and has not stopped playing with his new Ninja Turtle stuff all week.
I have this exact same picture of Wade when he was 15 months. She is only a month younger but looks so much smaller than he did :)
Here is one happy little boy because he is getting ready to open up his birthday presents from Nana and Poppy. I wish I would have gotten a better picture of them with him while opening his gifts.
