6 Months Old!!

How is this even possible??? Westin Kate has been here half a year already!! Wade grew up fast and I think she is growing up even faster if that's possible. I think she has enjoyed her 6 month birthday...we spent most of the day on the beach. I feel like I am going to blink my eyes and I am going to be writing her one year post. I really love this age; she is so much fun to have around. She is still the easiest baby I have ever been around. She never cries-the last time she cried was last Wed night when I left her at my parents house :)  We can just lay her down for naps and bed time and she puts herself right to sleep. I think that's why we travel pretty much every other weekend-because she will sleep anywhere. Here is what she is up to:

• weighs somewhere between 17-18lbs (we go next week to the doctors)
• wears mostly 6 month clothes but can wear some 9 month outfits
• wears size 3 diapers
• has a short but very chubby foot-she wears size 1 (but we hardly ever put shoes on her)
• takes a one hr morning nap, a 2-3hr afternoon nap, and a 30 min catnap around 5-6pm
• sleeps ok at night (not great but ok)-goes down around 8-830p(most nights she wakes up to eat around 11p-12a), eats again around 5-6am, then goes back to sleep until 9-930am. Occasionally she will sleep from 8p-5am and will not wake up to eat.
• Nurses every 3-4 hours
• Has just started eating two solid meals this week (oatmeal for breakfast-with a little fruit and a veggie for dinner)
• LOVES her brother the best
• will squeal if we are not paying attention to her
• loves to play in her exersaucer
• has found her feet and grabs them all the time when she is on her back
• GRABS everything-I can no longer eat or do anything without her grabbing things
• loves water-she loves to swim and take a bath
• smiles all the time and laughs out loud-usually at Wade (I have got to get this on video)
• is so close to sitting up-she is doing the tripod sit
• has one little bottom tooth that has just started coming in-one little corner has poked through
• can take her paci out and put it back in

Westin Kate,
We are so thankful that you joined our family 6 months ago. We love watching you grow but please stop growing up so fast. You are the sweetest little baby ever. You are so cute and chubby and so fun to be around. We take you everywhere because we know you will be so good. As long as you have people to look at you are happy. Everyone stops and talks to you and you just eat up all the attention you get. You smile so big when people tell you how cute you are!! We love you so much!
