Wade had a cold this weekend and a bad cough but overall he felt pretty good and really enjoyed the beach. He was so cute on the car ride down there; he fell asleep as soon as we got in the car and when we stopped half way to eat dinner he started saying "beach" "beach" we had to break the news that we had another hour and a half to go!! Saturday the weather was perfect. We even snuck into the new resorts pool and Wade had a blast playing in the little pool's. The resort is huge and they have not had very many people buying the units and it is pretty much empty. It is so sad... I am not sure how they are staying in business. We went out to eat with Josh's parents Saturday night and had a little incident. This may be TMI but I will share anyways... I guess Josh did not put Wade's diaper on all the way and when Wade pooped during dinner it came all the way out of his outfit onto the seat. Talk about loosing your appetite. We all laughed so hard we were almost crying. Mostly Josh and his dad were laughing at Josh's mom and me because we did not know what it was at first. Wade had on this cute pants outfit so how that happenend is still a mystery!! So needless to say we took Wade home to change before walking around Barefoot and riding the carosel. I am so glad they live across the street from Barefoot.
Sunday was much cooler so we spent the morning at the park and then after nap time we went out to the beach. It was a great lazy Sunday!! We decided to leave at 7pm and Wade slept almost the entire way home. He sleeps with me at the beach now because he has pretty much outgrown the pack n play. Well after two nights of that all he talked about when we got home was "momma's bed" so we had to cry it out in the crib last night. I always hate making him do that but I know he needs to sleep in his own bed here at home. Here are some pictures from Saturday night/Sunday. Thanks again to my in-laws for such a fun weekend away!!
Pei Pa Koa (www.geocities.jp/ninjiom_hong_kong/index_e.htm ) is one of the few Chinese natural cough remedies that have been scientifically studied. it's something like herb plus honey, and it's sweet, thick and black in color. If you have a cough, look for it! It used to be one of my favourite natural cough remedies.
ReplyDeleteif your cough persists, seek professional help such as traditional Chinese medicine physicians - I have had very good experiences with them.
